OVERVIEW

Abstracts must contain original material, not published or presented at any other international meeting prior to the third International Congress on Glaucoma Surgery. Only abstracts in English will be accepted.
-
All abstracts for the ICGS meeting must be submitted on-line through the Abstract Management System, accessible from the Congress website: www.icgs2006.com.
-
Before submitting your abstract, please read through the guidelines given in the Abstract Management on-line system. Incorrectly prepared abstracts will not be considered for presentation. You may correct your abstract via the website until December 15, 2005. Please retain your assigned password as a reference for future communication.

On-line abstract submission begins June 1, 2005.
-
Deadline for submission of abstracts has been extended from December 15, 2005 to January 16, 2005.

Receipt of abstracts will be acknowledged by email. All communication will be with
the submitting author only.

Each abstract will be reviewed by members of the International Scientific Program Committee. A limited number of abstracts will be selected by the Committee for presentation.

Acceptance of abstracts will be advised by January 30, 2006. Notification of acceptance and presentation format (Oral Paper, Poster or Video) will be sent by email.

If an abstract is accepted, one of the authors must attend the meeting and present it in person. The presenting author of an accepted abstract must register and pay the registration fee (see “Fees” on page 6). If the registration fee has not been received by February 22, 2006, the abstract will not be published in the abstract book.

Abstracts related to the following themes are welcome in the format of Oral Paper or Poster presentation. Please indicate your presentation preference when submitting your proposal. Required information includes: Title, Author(s), Purpose, Methods, Results and Conclusion. Please see attached Abstract Template for format.

Poster board dimensions are six (6) feet (180 cm.) across by three (3) feet (90 cm.) high.
Velcro adhesives ONLY will be permitted and provided by the Meeting.

Abstracts related to the following themes are welcome in the format of Video for Surgical Grand Rounds Presentation, Film Festival or both. Please indicate your preference when submitting your proposal. Required information includes: Title, Author(s) and a one-paragraph description. Video presentation should be no longer than six minutes. Please see attached Abstract Template for format.
